Adam Roth


Adam received a B.A. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a Ph.D. in Cell Biology at Cornell University, where he studied the molecular biology of vertebrate development. His work in the Breaker lab has focused on nucleic acid enzymes selected in vitro. For example, he has demonstrated that a catalytic DNA can make use amino acid cofactors.
