Sanshu graduated from Fujian Normal University in China with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Biochemistry. He obtained his Ph. D in 2008 in Cell and Molecular Biology at York University in Canada where he worked with circadian clock in Neurospora. After joining the Breaker lab, he is interested in applying bioinformatics to search for regulatory structural RNA elements like riboswitches in Fungi.
